For What It's Worth...
As the son of a small business owner, Mark noticed that his father didn't have the bandwidth to run marketing campaigns and keep up with a growing business. Even though the business was growing, his father didn't have the budget to hire a full time marketing employee. When he was 18, Mark attended Marquette University with the goal to help business owners like his father, bring their brand to a wider audience.

After achieving a double major in Marketing and Operations Supply Chain Management, Mark began working marketing for a fintech startup company. Under the mentorship of Curtis Johnson, CEO and director of Creative Like Us, he honed his marketing skills and began creating his own unique style. After gaining recognition from other companies, Mark decided to launch his own marketing agency, Canyon Country Consultants.​
California Dreamin'
While Mark's father taught him hard work and discipline through starting a business, Mark's mother nurtured his creative side. As a music therapist, his mother taught him numerous instruments and Mark became active in every music scene he could be apart of. The historical music scene that influenced him most was the Laurel Canyon neighborhood in LA. In Laurel, musicians such as The Beach Boys, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Mama's and the Papa's, the Byrds, Jackson Browne, and many others lived and played music together. At the center of it all was the Canyon Country Store, a general store where creatives connected with each other to create some of the most iconic art of their time.​
